Fleet Cottage - An 18th Century Cottage in the Heart of Derbyshire

In 2007, Fleet Cottage was awarded a VisitBritain Quality in Tourism rating of Four Stars!

This newly renovated 18th Century Grade II Listed cottage, was formerly a beer house and staging inn and later a nailmakers shop.

Beamed throughout with stone flagged floor. Lovely views and many walks from the door.

Your accommodation consists of:

A well-equipped, open-plan kitchen with washing machine, fridge, microwave, gas hob with electric oven and extractor hood, leading to the spacious dining area and lounge with TV/DVD, CD/Radio and multifuel stove. (Initial basket of logs provided between November and Easter.)

Upstairs, the master (double) bedroom and secondary (two single beds) accommodation feature exposed stonework, beams and all of the character features you might expect in a cottage of this period. Bed linen is included in the rental fee.

The washroom/toilet has an all-white suite and a comfortable shower cubicle.

Outside, the gravelled garden contains a patio seating area, barbecue and well-tended flowerbeds, with a lovely view out over the Derwent Valley.

PLEASE NOTE: Parking is freely available on the gravelled area, or outside the property if you'd prefer!
